They are competing in the Dakar and so is Ford with an F-150 “Evo” (Raptor)

I wonder if that’s the old Raptor that won the production class like a decade ago

Looks like the Ranger that ran a couple years back but with the raptor face grafted on

Those Borgwards are a funny thing. I think they are heavily re-worked Mitsubishi Racing Lancers with a Ford V8 engine, and different body parts. Because the chassis and doors and stuff look very similar to the HRX Ford which the team of Wevers Sport built based on those Lancers, after they actually bought several Racing Lancers when Mitsubishi pulled out of the Dakar. Guess who runs the Borgward team? Exactly Wevers Sport.
For comparison: Mitsubishi Racing Lancer -> HRX Ford -> Borgward BX7 DKR
None the less, it is amazing to see Borgward entering the Dakar. I hope it helps them to market their cars, so they cam take the profits of the crossovers they build, and give us a new Isabella.

Prokop is having a good rally so far. I believe he is the first of the non-factory teams
